Module 1: What is an online reputation and why is it important?

In module 1, you will explore what online reputation is and why it is important, as well as the impact it can have on both the online and offline community.

Module 2: Legislation and online presence

In this module, you will look at what guidance is available in relation to online reputation, both personally and within an educational setting.

Module 3: Online persona and online reputation

This module explores the differences between and the meaning of your online persona and your online reputation, as well as how best to present both positively.

Module 4: The importance of online reputation for all staff

In this module, you will look at the importance of protecting your online reputation as a member of staff at a school or an educational establishment.

Module 5: Risks associated with reputational crises

In module 5, you will learn about the risks associated with reputational crises online by looking at real-world examples that show how a reputational crisis can cost someone their career.

Module 6: Practical ways to protect your online reputation

In this module, you will look at some practical suggestions to protect yourself and your online reputation, with support on when you should stop and consider the potential consequences of what you are about to post.
