Dr Alison Daubney (PhD) is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Sussex, mentor, researcher, curriculum developer and trainer. Together, Alison and her husband Gregory Daubney have written ‘Performance Anxiety: A practical guide for music teachers’ and ‘Play: A psychological toolkit for optimal music performance’ published by the ISM Trust.
Alison and Gregory have undertaken research considering the health and wellbeing of young musicians, including those in a diverse range of challenging circumstances and in mental health settings.
