Rina is a Counselling Psychologist who completed her Doctorate at City, University of London in 2008. She is Chartered with the British Psychological Society and is a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professionals Council. Rina has worked in mental health since 2004 (for the NHS, statutory organisations, in the corporate world and the voluntary sector) and has diverse experience with children, adolescents and adults from a range of backgrounds.
Specialising in dating and relationships (having worked as a specialist counselling psychologist for an exclusive matchmaking and introduction agency), Rina’s clients have included YouTube stars, celebrities, reality TV personalities, high net worth individuals, musicians and artists. She also helps people experiencing anxiety, self-confidence and self-esteem related issues, trauma and depression.
Rina has provided many companies with workshops and training on staff wellbeing, mental health awareness, mindfulness and stress management. She is a regular speaker at conferences and regularly features in the national media. A part of the national radio ’60-Second Support’ series in conjunction with Heads Together, she has also recently contributed to articles for the Daily Mirror, The Guardian and the TES and has been an ‘agony aunt’ for online platforms such as Female First UK.
