James Edmondston

As Substance Misuse Team Leader. Leicestershire Police, James provides effective, specialist support to strategic leads, police officers, police staff and multi-agency partners in relation to drug and alcohol issues. He also assists in the management and development of policies, procedures, projects and partnership work relating to substance misuse. 

James has previously worked as a democratic services and scrutiny officer for a district council, and as a prison officer, during which time he was chosen to join the prison’s substance misuse team as a drug treatment worker and group-work facilitator, and also worked as an adjudication liaison officer.
