John Insley is a practising e-safety lead and current head of IT and computing. He is also the Head of Year 10 and 11 and has over 10 years’ experience of teaching.
John has developed ICT and Computing curriculums and delivered staff training on e-safety for the past 5 years ensuring that they are aware of how to keep themselves safe as well as being able to support students with their use of internet connected devices.
He is a Computing at School (CAS) Level 2 Master Teacher and, as part of this, supported feeder primary schools in also developing their e-safety practices and their curriculum. He has completed NPQSL training as part of his development towards leadership as well as undertaking DSL training.
