Lucy Rose

Lucy Rose is a teacher, leader, and co-founder of Flexible Teacher Talent. Currently working flexibly as an English teacher in a London secondary school, Lucy originally joined the profession as an early Teach First participant in 2004 and progressed to Assistant Headteacher. Frustrated with the haemorrhaging of talent from the profession, Lucy undertook research in flexible working as part of the Teach First Innovation Series where she met co-founder Lindsay Patience. Today they work together with schools, policy makers and teaching professionals to improve flexible working opportunities for the recruitment and retention of high-quality teachers.
