Maggie Parker is former headteacher and now chair of a Multi-Academy Trust.
Maggie Parker has numerous qualifications including a degree in Education, NPQH, NPQSI and a Post Graduate Certificate in Process Consultancy. From an initial career in television journalism Maggie went on to become a SEND lead.
She later became a headteacher, first in a church primary school and later a large inner city primary school. Maggie’s specialist areas are in supporting school leaders in primary education, special educational needs and music.
For the last five years she has worked as a School Improvement Partner for a local authority. She is a link advisor for the ‘Pathways to Success’ project for the Department for Education, as well as working as a coach for women in leadership for The Regional Schools Council.
