Professor Thomas Cornelissen is an internationally renowned expert with a research focus on the effects of early childhood education on child skill development. His work aims to inform the public policy debate by employing rigorous research methods to uncover empirical evidence on cause-effect relationships. His influential research has been published in the most distinguished academic journals of his discipline and regularly receives public interest and media coverage. Besides being a Professor of Economics at the University of York, he is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) and at the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM) at UCL.
