The National Online Safety Monthly Update Service has been launched to assist school leaders to stay on top of online safety related news, social media updates, gaming updates and evolving online issues through monthly summary webinars and newsletters. This service has been launched in direct response to the DfE’s revised statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ which places emphasis on DSLs staying ‘regularly updated’ and having an ‘up-to-date capability’ in online safety.

  • Our update webinars focus on the crucial headlines from the month regarding online safety, important app updates and free resources to help keep you ahead of the game.

Monthly Online Safety Newsletter

All school staff will receive a monthly newsletter including the most up to date Online Safety news, useful hints and tips, statistics, free resources and much more.

  • Our Online Safety experts compile the most important news from the month so you can keep up to date with the online world.
  • The newsletter can be sent to all of your school staff, accessible via their computers and mobile devices.
  • The newsletters will occasionally include free resources for your classrooms and staff room.

As part of the National Online Safety newsletter, your school will have access to selected online safety guides and resources. You can download the free resources and upload them onto your school website and distribute to your whole school community.

  • You can share the guides with your whole school community to keep them updated on the latest advancements in the online world.

As part of the NOS monthly update service, you will receive access to the latest social media and online gaming guides for parents. These guides are downloadable via the newsletter and can be distributed to your whole school community.
