This webinar will provide governors, headteachers and school leaders with practical guidance and advice on how they can ensure that appropriate filtering and monitoring system have been put in place in order to safeguard children from harm online.
All schools should ensure that they have appropriate filtering and monitoring systems in place in line with the requirement set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education. Governing bodies and proprietors should consider the age range of their children, the number of children, how often they access the IT system and the proportionality of costs vs risks.
In this webinar, Gary Henderson, a cyber security advocate and director of IT, explore what filtering and monitoring actually means, why it’s so important to implement and what schools might consider when developing their own systems and procedures.
