Image Searching
What is image searching?
Image searching, also referred to as ‘Reverse image searching’, is a search engine technology that allows you to find a website using an image as the search query, rather than words. For example, instead of typing ‘orange juice’ into a browser, you could use an image of orange juice. When an image is posted to the internet it becomes available for anyone to view on search engines such as Google, including profile pictures on social media. Simple image searches can give away a lot of information about an individual and can often lead to finding out more personal information about them.
