This webinar will provide headteachers, DSLs and online safety leads with practical guidance and advice on how to develop and implement an annual audit of their approach to online safety in line with statutory safeguarding guidance for 2022/23.
Keeping children safe in education (KCSIE) 2022 states that schools and colleges should consider carrying out an annual review of their approach to online safety, supported by an annual risk assessment that considers and reflects the risks their children face. For that reason, it’s important that settings regularly audit their provision in order to highlight their strengths and weaknesses.
In this webinar, Robin Watts, international safeguarding expert and education consultant who has worked with thousands of schools worldwide, discusses how schools should look to develop their audit in line with government guidance and best practice, the key areas that need to be focused on, and how to ensure they develop the most effective approach to online safety.
