This webinar will provide governors, senior leaders, safeguarding leads and teachers with an understanding of and insight into the metaverse and how the actions we take now can potentially shape the future of the digital world for our children.
The metaverse is a term which is commonly used but not always widely understood. It is considered to be the next evolution of the internet but, as this digital world continues to develop, questions still remain around how safe it will be for children, what impact it will have on their lives and how it may affect their behaviour.
In this webinar, Nina Jane Patel, co-founder and director of Metaverse Research for Kabuni, explains what the metaverse is, how children and young people are already engaging with it and what risks it may bring as it continues to become a greater part of our lives.
