Review and Update Your Online Safety Policy in Line with DfE and Ofsted Guidance for 2021-22

This webinar will provide headteachers, DSLs and online safety leads with practical advice and guidance on how to review and update their online safety policy for the 2021-22 academic year in line with the latest DfE statutory safeguarding requirements and Ofsted guidance.

Keeping children Safe in education will become statutory from 1 September 2021. All schools should ensure they update their online safety policy to reflect the latest changes, as well additional guidance from the DfE, UKCIS and Ofsted, to ensure they meet their legislative duties, support digital wellbeing and establish clear expectations of staff, pupils and the wider school community.

In this webinar Hazel Parkinson, former DSL and pastoral manager with 20+ years’ senior leadership experience, explores how schools can review and update their existing online safety policy in line with recent government guidance and legislation to ensure they maintain a rigorous approach towards keeping children, and trusted adults, safe online.
